What form(s) does this medication come in?
This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors. If you are concerned about side effects, discuss the risks and benefits of this medication with your doctor. Keep all medications away from children and pets. If your doctor has recommended a dose different from the ones listed here, do not change the way that you are using the medication without consulting your doctor.
How should this medicine be used?
Instill the missed dose as soon as you remember it. Timolol eye drops and gel-forming solution control glaucoma but do not cure it. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Please refer to the individual leaflets which are available for each of these treatments for more information. Also tell them about any supplements you take.
Many of these side effects can be managed, and some may go away on their own over time. Wait at least 15 minutes before replacing your contact lenses. Speak to your doctor about how any drug interactions are being managed or should be managed. Close your eye for 2 to 3 minutes and tip your head down as though looking at the floor. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
Fatigue and weakness Allergic hypersensitive reactions, such as skin rash Severe allergic reactions, such as difficulty in breathing or dizziness Heart and circulation problems, such as chest pain, heart attack, fainting, irregular heart beat, slowing of your heart rate, palpitations, low blood pressure, accumulation of fluid in your body, swelling or coldness of your hands, feet and extremities Breathing problems, such as wheezing, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing and cough Stomach problems, such as nausea, diarrhoea, indigestion and dry mouth Low blood sugar Decreased sex drive Hair loss A skin disease called psoriasis or worsening of psoriasis Depression Unable to sleep insomnia Nightmares Memory loss Tingling sensation Headache If any of these persist or you consider them severe then inform doctor or pharmacist.

Do not dispose of medications in wastewater e. Eye solutions, if handled improperly, can become contaminated by common bacteria known to cause eye infections. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. What side effects can this medication cause?
Check with your doctor if you notice any symptom that worries you while you are taking this medication. Taste disturbances, loss of appetite, nausea, indigestion, diarrhoea, dry mouth, abdominal pain, vomiting fainting, stroke, reduced blood supply to the brain, increased signs and symptoms of myasthenia gravis weakness, drooping eyelids, double vision, muscle disorderdizziness, unusual sensations like pins and needlesand headache.
Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects.
